Link Here The PLSS map above shows the states included in the map. PLSS stands for Public Land Survey System. The way that this map is set up anyone could understand because not only are the states that are used colored blue, they are also shown with their state lines around them unlike the other states. This could be seen clearly in the Northeast. The PLSS is used to divide the land that is publicly domained.
